Industry Wear

Last Thursday I was invited to participate in St. Louis Fashion Week Industry night. Since this is my first STLFW I wasn't sure what to expect or what to wear. As for expectation - all mine were blown away by the amazing show and as for what to wear I went with what seemed to be my most "modish" attire. It was not until the night was over and I was at home hanging up my top that I realized I had been wearing an Eva Franco top. Why is this important? Ms. Franco was one of the 5 fabulous designers that had been showcased on the runway earlier that night. Major accidental pat on the back for me. Other designers featured on the runway that night included Samantha Pleet, Jennifer Chun, Laura Kathleen and Wai Ming.

The event took place at Windows on Washington, which was the perfect venue for the event. I could go on and on about the evening but my words wouldn't do the experience justice. Takeaway: next time industry night rolls around during STLFW, go! Here are my favorite looks from the evening. All of the photographs below were taken by Mark Schwigen for ALIVE magazine and St. Louis Fashion Week. Enjoy.
