June Birchbox - Must or Bust

It's time for this month's installment of must or bust. I received my Birchbox a couple weeks ago and have had the opportunity to try out all the products I received. So, without further ado, here are my thoughts...

Birchbox + Color Club Mod in Manhatten Nail Color - I was really excited to receive this color, rather than the other pastel colors that were being sent out. White nail polish is pretty trendy. I had my nails painted with this last Wednesday when I had my regular manicure. The color is an opaque light beige color with a glossy finish, which keeps it from looking like white out. It looked a little goopy when it was being painted on but dried uneventfully. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the color a 7. It's a bit yellow for my skin and taste. The polish itself didn't last quite as long as Essie does on my nails but it was close so over all it's not a must for me but surely it's not a bust either.

Davines Love Smoothing Shampoo - This shampoo is nice. Its consistency is runnier than most shampoos and it doesn't foam too much but I assume that means it doesn't have a lot of sulfates and other gross ingredients. While I have neither dry nor frizzy hair, I did find this shampoo worked well on my fine hair and did not leave it feeling heavy. Must.

Davines Love Smoothing Conditioner - This is a thick, rich conditioner so I stuck to using it on my ends since my hair is on the finer side. It rinsed clean and did not make my hair feel too heavy. Must.

Davines Oil Absolute Beautifying potion - this stuff smells amazing! ...and a couple drops of this does wonders  to finish off a smooth style. Double Must.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser - I really wanted to love this stuff. It smells divine - like crushed lemon drop candies. If you keep your eyes closed you can easily imagine your at the spa. Unfortunately this is where the dreaminess stops. It left a film on my face similar to bar soap and left my skin feeling dry. In addition it didn't remove any of my eye make up (which my Fresh cleanser does like a dream). Bust.

Oscar de la Renta Something Blue - this perfume is not offensive but it's not something I would jump to wear either. After it dries down the scent reminds me of a bar of Olay soap...a very expensive bar of Olay soap. Bust.
